Ask Lever
Hand over the follow-ups.
Ask Lever does the work a person does on a screen, as that person, through the same buttons. Anything that sends or deletes waits for your confirm.

Tasks, not just answers
Ask for the work, not a summary of it.
Each task runs the same action a button on that screen runs, as you, with your permissions, in the practice you are in.
You ask
Remind everyone still waiting on August documents
Filters Requests, selects the overdue ones, then Send reminders: one card names every request before anything goes.
Waits for your confirmYou ask
Send Coastline Joinery a request for their June bank statements
Drafts the request with its checklist, then Send request on your confirm. You can edit the message in the card.
Waits for your confirmYou ask
Show me who hasn't signed off August
Opens Sign-off and filters it to the months still awaiting a signer, the way the filter would. Nothing changes.
Runs at onceYou ask
Ask Priya to sign off August
Runs the page's own Request sign-off for the named signer; the card shows her name and the month.
Waits for your confirmYou ask
Push Foundry's need-by out to Friday
Changes the date through the request's own Change Need by, then says what changed in the chat.
Runs at once, with a receiptYou ask
Close both, we're handling them in person
Closes the two requests through Close request; their reminders stop. Each is marked "Changed by Lever".
Runs at once, with a receipt
One task, end to end
Remind Jess about what's missing.
Ben Nguyen at Harbour & Co Accountants, on the August close request for Coastline Joinery. Sample data.
You ask, on the screen you are on
"Remind Jess about what's missing." Lever reads the open request: items 2 and 3 are still waiting on Jess.
It lines up the request's own action
Send a reminder now, the same button Ben would press. It would be reminder 3 of 5.
It asks before anything goes
The card names the request, who gets the email and what changes. Nothing sends until Ben presses Send reminder.
Done, on the record
The reminder goes, and the request now shows 3 of 5 reminders sent.
What it won't do without asking
You stay the one who decides.
Anything that sends waits for you
Reminders, requests and messages go only after you press the card's own button. The card shows the words in full.
So does anything you can't take back
Deleting, changing where emails go, inviting or removing people, and anything touching billing all need your confirm.
It acts as you, never as more
Your permissions, in the practice you are in. What you can't do on a screen, it can't do either.
Some steps stay yours
It never signs a month off, connects Xero, picks a plan, takes card details or uploads a file. It opens the page, and you finish.
Questions
What practices ask first
No. It is a way to hand over work in Lever Up Practice Manager. It answers from the data you can see, and when you ask for something done, it runs the same action the screen's button runs, as you.
Nothing to set up: it comes with Lever Up Practice Manager. Ask from the screen you are on, and confirm anything that sends.
Records are stored in Sydney. Client emails pass through our email provider, and Ask Lever's answers are generated by our AI provider, which doesn't train on your data.
